A Stray Gray Day. This is a headline for a poem about a boy's decision to not wear black one day but gray.
It was on a very different and rushed day
his interminable tonality had shifted to gray.
While a dark mountain grew higher over the hamper
as the empty drawer caused panic just minutes to the wire!
Tearing around far and wide in a full-bore scamper
then finally! He found one pristine pair to add to his attire!
But, these, they uh, are thousands of shades lighter?
Its gotta work. My class is starting, I have to go brighter.

what if he didn’t run out of black at all?
He could have just been in a light mood.

We all need change
and this was an answer to that call.
If only I could see though this nebulous allude.
